Wirraway

The sixth Wirraway CA-1 in production, possibly A20-6 (CAC No. 4) or A20-8 (CAC No. 6), received minor damage during a forced landing in August 1939 during ongoing flying tests at an unknown location in Victoria. It may have been at Fishermans Bend or Laverton. One of the undercarriage assemblies failed to lock down. This was the first flying accident experienced by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation.

Can anyone confirm the correct aircraft and the exact date
and the actual location of this incident please?
