The squadrons of the 6th Photographic Group, Reconnaissance were:-

- 8th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron   
- 25th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron 
- 26th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron 
- 20th Combat Mapping Squadron          

The 6th Photographic Group, Reconnaissance was part of the 91st Photographic Wing, Reconnaissance of the 5th Air Force. It was later know as the 6th Reconnaissance Group of the 91st Reconnaissance Wing.
