SABOTAGE AT FORT COWAN COWAN

Secret files released in the early 1990's revealed that intelligence investigators had stated that a scrub fire was deliberately lit at Fort Cowan Cowan during WW2 so that the fort could easily be seen from the sea. It was a blatant act of sabotage.
