JAPANESE MILITARY SECRET POLICE

The Japanese Military Secret Police was know as the Kempei Tai. They were responsible for counterintelligence in Japan and the occupied territories. They were used to interrogate Allied Prisoners of War, a task which they carried out with much brutality.
