"GROSVENOR" AT QUEENS ROAD, MELBOURNE
HOME TO THE AUSTRALIAN ARMY CIPHER PRODUCTION UNIT
DURING WW2

 

"Grosvenor" was an old manor house in Queens Road, Melbourne. It was home to the Australian Army Cipher Production Unit during WW2. A number of AWAS worked in this unit. Other AWAS had their barracks at Fawkner Park near St Kilda Road, South Yarra.
