19 RADAR RAAF

The radar unit at Shepherd's Hill, Newcastle, New South Wales was moved to Bombi in New South Wales on 1 April 1942 and became operational as 19 Radar RAAF on 19 April 1942.

The Commanding Officer of 19 Radar was Pilot Officer Albert Edward Grey (293310). Other Commanding Officers were as follows:-

Flying Officer Robert Anstruther Goodsir (261512) 4 October 1942
Pilot Officer O'Donnell 3 November 1942
Pilot Officer William Thomas Steele Middleton (68920) 3 December 1943
Flight Lieutenant Robertson GordonSheaffe (264742) 10 February 1944
Flying Officer Archer Geoffrey Svensen (01155) 6 October 1944
