CRASH OF A MOTH MINOR
5 MILES EAST OF CRESSY, VIC
ON 14 DECEMBER 1940

Moth Minor

 

RAAF DH-94 Moth Minor, A21-10 of No. 1 Armament Training Station at Cressy in Victoria made a forced landing due to engine failure at approximately 1741 hours on 14 December 1940 at a location about 5 miles east of Cressy.

The pilot, Pilot Officer Irvine Margetts Hamilton (250801) was uninjured. There was no other crew member on this flight.
