CRASH OF A FAIREY BATTLE
1 MILE SOUTH OF SEASPRAY, VIC
ON 16 SEPTEMBER 1942

Fairey Battle L9375 of 3 B.A.G. West Sale suffered a partial engine failure and forced landed 1 mile south of Seaspray on 16 September 1942. This led to the outbreak of a fire which destroyed the aircraft.
