CRASH OF A KITTYHAWK
AT 2 OTU MILDURA, VIC
ON 15 AUGUST 1943

On 15 August 1943, RAAF P-40E Kittyhawk, A29-115, (#41-36094), of 2 OTU Mildura in Victoria was involved in a landing accident at night when the starboard leg slowly retracted when the aircraft was towards the end of its landing run. Pilot Sgt K. G. Chester was not injured. 

This aircraft was involved in another accident
at Wentworth Bombing Range, NSW on 11 Nov 1944
