Mustang
Flying Officer Kenneth George Chester (10167) was involved in an accident with a Mustang at 2 Operational Training Unit (2 OTU) at Mildura on about 5 June 1945 when he put his Mustang into a battle climb. The Mustang was torn apart most likely due to strain and severe buffeting when the aircraft broke the sound barrier.
