CRASH OF A HAWKER DEMON
NEAR BAIRNSDALE, VIC
ON 3 JULY 1942

RAAF Hawker Demon A1-1 from No. 3 Bombing & Gunnery School, crashed  into trees near Bairnsdale on 3 July 1942 after engine failure at 2000 feet. The pilot Sgt. B.P.Wills was seriously injured.
