CRASH OF A FAIREY BATTLE
AT SEASPRAY, VIC
ON 9 JULY 1943
On 9 July 1943, RAAF Fairey Battle L5725 of 3 BAGS, forced landed in a field near the Air Gunnery Range at Seaspray in Victoria. The aircraft overshot, killed a sheep and then ran into a creek. The crew comprised Sgt K. Cowan (410470) and LAC C. Humphries (117742).
