RAAF Tiger Moth, A17-587, disappeared during a flight from Daru to Horn Island on 28 September 1944. No further news.

29.11.43 13 ARD Breddan
28.09.44 Missing at night en route Horn Island to Daru Papua on
ferry flight to 33 Squadron Milne Bay.
Pilot F/O FL Curr of 33 Squadron and passenger W/O DeLas of
ANGAU for whom permission
to travel had earlier been refused. Presumed lost.
