FORCE LANDING OF A TIGER MOTH
AT ARCHERFIELD AIRFIELD,
ON 28 JANUARY 1941
Tiger Moth A17-18 of 2 Elementary Flying Training School 2 EFTS at Archerfield, force landed at Archerfield Airfield at 1235 hours on 28 January 1941. The pilot George Wyndham Nelson Bassingthwaighte (404619) was uninjured. His engine had cut out due to a stuck carburettor float. The aircraft was not damaged.
Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
