CRASH OF A C-56
AT ARCHERFIELD AIRFIELD
ON 11 OCTOBER 1942

On 11 October 1942, a C-56 aircraft #42-68351, was VHCAE (ex-LT9-16 ML-KNIL) of the 22nd Troop Carrier Squadron of the 374th Troop Carrier Group crashed at Archerfield airfield in Brisbane.
