CRASH OF A B-24 LIBERATOR
AT FENTON AIRFIELD, NT
ON 25 OCTOBER 1943

visits since 4 January 2003

USAAF B-24 Liberator #42-40504 "Gus's Bus" of the 530th Bomb Squadron, 380th Bomb Group, crash landed at Fenton airfield in the Northern Territory. The undercarriage collapsed on landing.
