B-25C Mitchell, N5-153, #42-32339, "René", from 18 Squadron of the Netherlands East Indies Air Force (NEI-AF) crashed on landing at Batchelor airfield in the Northern Territory on 9 September 1943 when the nose wheel and flaps refused to work after an evening bombing raid to Laha-Ambon.
