8 MILES NORTH WEST OF ADELAIDE RIVER

RAAF F.VC Spitfire, A58-29 (BR490) was shot down during a Japanese air raid in June 1943. It crashed 8 miles north west of Adelaide River. (Map Reference 13.10 - 130.50).
