CRASH OF A P-40E KITTYHAWK
AT WILLIAMTOWN, NSW

IN APRIL 1942

On an unknown day in April 1942, at 2.30pm, USAAF P-40E Kittyhawk, Serial No. #41-5306, piloted by a A.C. McDonnell nosed over when landing at Williamtown in New South Wales. It suffered minor damage and was repaired at Williamtown.

 

Was the pilot injured?
