There was a large Army Staging Camp located at Kalinga in Brisbane during World War 2. It was located in Kalinga Park opposite today's Toombul Shopping Centre on Sandgate Road.

The Australian Army's Australian Special Wireless Group had their main Headquarters located on the western side of Shaw Road, Kalinga during World War 2.

 

Can anyone help me with more information on the Kalinga Staging Camp?
