The Queensland Main Roads Commission renovated an old disused mine tunnel at Ebbw Vale, Bundamba to allow it to be used to store cordite and caps. An access road was constructed to the tunnel. The total cost of the project was £428.
The tunnel was concrete lined and an air conditioning system was installed in it.
Can anyone tell me some more about this cordite storage area?
