HUDSON LANDING ACCIDENT AT DRYSDALE
ON 14 APRIL 1943
|visits since 26 December 2001|
Lockheed Hudson A16-178 of 2 Squadron RAAF, piloted by Mr. O'Neil, hit a tree while landing at Drysdale in the Northern Territory on 14 April 1943.
This aircraft was involved in a later incident on 15 October 1943 when it did not return from a flight out of Millingimbi.
I would like to thank Phil Herdman of the Arnhem Land Historical Society for details on the above incident.
