Model CA-13 Boomerang, A46-130 (CAC Constructor's No. 953) of 83 Squadron RAAF, piloted by Mr. Mutch, was damaged in a landing accident, possibly at Millingimbi, on 27 January 1944.

The aircraft had been delivered to the RAAF in August 1943. It was authorised for Write Off in May 1946 and was eventually Struck Off Charge in November 1948.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I would like to thank Phil Herdman of the Arnhem Land Historical Society for details on the above incident.
