of Albert Street which is now part of King George Square
 in front of City Hall. The Cafe Oasis can be seen at the left of
the Albert Hotel. The Building at the far left is the Tivoli Theatre

The Albert Hotel in Albert Street, Brisbane, would have been frequented by many Allied service personnel during WWII.
