JAPANESE RECONNAISSANCE FLIGHT

On 6 November 1943, a Japanese "Dinah" aircraft, flying a reconnaissance flight in the Drysdale area near Truscott airfield in Western Australia, was intercepted by Spitfires from 457 Squadron RAAF. The "Dinah" was attacked and damaged.

There was more reconnaissance flights 7 November 1943, 3 February 1944 and 20 February 1944.
