There is a 3 metre diameter tunnel in the bank of the Brisbane River near the Queensland Maritime Museum. It was originally built to drain the swamp originally located where the Gabba Cricket Ground is now located at Woolloongabba, in Brisbane.
Was it used for any military purpose during WW2?
