GARBUTT ORDNANCE DEPOT
TOWNSVILLE, QLD
DURING WWII

visits since 1 October 2012

Captain LaVar A. Clays, an Ordnance Officer in the US Army Air Corps stationed at Garbutt Airfield in Townsville built an Ordnance Depot at Garbutt. The Ordnance was apparently stored underground or in a Bunker. Was this on the Garbutt airfield somewhere or at the nearby Mount Louisa?
