This book focuses on the period between Dec 41 and Apr 42. It includes a general overview of events before the 27th B.G. arrived in the Philippines, their  actions and movements during the battle of Bataan and the period after the surrender at Mariveles. 

It also contains many 27th B.G. Rosters, Duty Rosters at the POW Camp Cabanatuan #3, and lists of individual deaths at O'Donnell and Cabanatuan. It also covers details of the pilots that escaped to Australia, and their role in the Royce Raid.
