CRASH OF A C-49
AT ARCHERFIELD AERODROME
ON 11 DECEMBER 1945

visits since 6 February 2002

The following entry was found in the National Archives of Australia Angam Database:-

Fire accident - Douglas C49, VH/CDE at Archerfield 11/12/1945 [2 pages]1945 to 1945MP1665/11/101/1253.

This aircraft went on to become VH-ANP in May 1946. At the time of the accident it had been purchased by ANA.
